After the first couple of weeks of parties, setup and prototyping, we are ready to offically announce Syder, our first project!

Syder is a multiplayer top-down shooter for Windows, Mac and the iPad.
So basically it’s a game about blowing up everything that is not your team, in space.

In this game you will be facing hordes of space baddies in procedurally generated campaings. We are working hard to provide bursts of intense old-school fun, both if you choose to play solo or form a team and enjoy some cross-platform multiplayer.
With SYDER we are aiming for istant action, no gathering, no ship setup, just form a team, choose your ship and open fire!

By the way, if you are looking for an in depth, star control-ish game, go for SPAZ, it’s awesome.

On a more technical side, maybe you missed this barebone prototype of the game in this old video, featuring an ealy version of the “mule” and non nerd-wise space explosions.

One of the playable ships in the game, the mule is tough, a “melee fighter”.
Somewhat weaker against quickest targets, it’s mass manipulator will obliterate slow or clumsy opponents.

Now if you excuse me, I’ve got to go back to Blender and build some more capital ship modules to blow up!
